Well i've never really had a to much of an opinion on what best Nikon or Canon. They are probably both as good as each other, this maybe seen as a controversial video.

A few weeks before Christmas I undertook a small photo shoot for Model - Danni Long, it was one cold evening in Hemel Hempstead just before all the snow.

She modelled for me as this was a small tester shoot so i could check out some of my new equipment; the ring flash and beauty dish.

Just so you can see how they turned out I wanted to post them on my photography blog.

Canon 7D Weather Sealing (Cold Photography)

I purchased a new Canon 7D towards the end of last year and as with all new camera kit you always want to look after it.

So when i'm out in the field doing photo shoots in the rain (or more recently snow) I'm always very careful not to get it wet, after reading these reviews of the weather sealing on the new Canon 7D camera I'm not going to worry to much.

Glyn Dewis - InSight Workshop

Back on the 29th of November 2009 (which seems a very long time ago) I spent a day with Glyn Dewis | UK Portrait & Commercial Photographer. Glyn is a great social photographer and in my opinion a master in off-camera flash, he takes his inspiration from Atlanta Photographer - Zack Arias.

I met Glyn on Twitter and discussed meeting up before his tester course as I had struggled with off-camera flash and making the images look moody. Unfortunately we were both too busy so the tester course was the first time we were able to meet.

Below are a few images from the day, including a great image of Glyn himself!

All of the images were taken by myself in Old Amersham on Glyn Dewis - InSight Workshop Tester in November 2009.
