She mentioned that keeping it simple with links and consistent branding and incorporating other social media Tumbler and Wordpress. She like Tumbler as people can reblog?
Facebook insights is great for monitoring interaction and she has 62470 fans on FB page.
She also uses Google analytics to find out where webtraffic is coming from and what countries her work is being followed.

There was then a question time. It ended like this.

In a nut shell it was a insperational seminar, great for new starters or people who don't use social media very much. I did feel a slight disconnect with the audiance but in the Q&A session the emotion was regained.

Canon Pro Solutions - Hasselblad

I had a great day at the Canon Pro Solutions day in Islington London as i'm sure you can tell.
I had the pleasure of meeting Mark Witney the Web, IT and Communication Supervisor at Hasselblad.

I had great fun with the Hasselbad H4D - 31 with True Focus, a system that allows you to move the camera angle up/down/left/right and remain in focus.

When i was there i spoke to Nicky West who showed me the software they offer. It was easy to use an workflow would be manageable. We also discussed a great Food Photographer Jonathan Gregson.

Below are some images that i took on the day. I think they are great!

The model is Fiona York, taken with the H4D - 31 with a HC 80 Lens at Canon Pro Solutions Day.
ISO-100, F11, @70mm

Have a look at the detail.

Took some pictures with the Hasselblad H4D, it is a beast of a camera like its files, but what a loveable camera image quality is pin sharp!

The most amazing thing of the day was watching Lara Jade give a presentation on Photography and Business, she was great to listen to. She didn't capturer her emotion in the presentation but i feel this may be due to the lack of presentations  but even though it was captivating and for me she really hit home about what business, strategy and marketing is all about.

To really cap it off i tweeted  few pictures of her and she retweeted me :) well massive smiles for me to be re-tweeted by her :)

I am putting together a blog post specially from her presentation to follow in the next few days.

And to top it off on my way home sat on the train i read an inspirational interview with Tesco ex-CEO Sir Terry Leahy. Well i'll tell you more about that very soon!
